Saying Goodbye to the Commerce Advisory Board

For the last two years, the Commerce Advisory Board has been a driving force behind how we think about and shape Umbraco Commerce. But all good things come to an end. Commerce is in a really good place today, with our main focus on stability and reliability, though we'll keep evolving it where it makes sense. With that, it's time to close this chapter.

A key voice from day one

When Umbraco Commerce launched, the Advisory Board played a key role in refining its positioning, and that role only grew from there, guiding feature development and product direction following the acquisition. With your collective knowledge in this industry, you helped us pinpoint exactly where the product delivers the most value, and clarify its key strengths, limitations, and ideal use cases. Tom and Leon in particular have valued your input on the latest features we've built along the way.

Thank you

Mads Aarup, Matt Swain, Nik Wahlberg, Ollie Picton, Per Axelsson, Rachelle Epley, Richard Metcalfe, Tobias Høst, and Steve Temple — thank you for two years of sharp feedback, honest conversations, and genuine care about where this product should go. Advisory boards only work when the people around the table actually show up, challenge us, and share what they know, and that's exactly what this group did, meeting after meeting.

Commerce is in a good place today in no small part because of the time and expertise the board put into it.

Do not hesitate to reach out to Amalie Wovern on Linkedin if you have any feedback or ideas for Commerce, or any of our other Commercial Products. This may be the end of the Advisory Board, but not of the conversation.
