The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team

Introduction

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Team is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive Umbraco community. We actively work to dismantle systemic barriers, ensure equal opportunities, and cultivate a safe environment where every voice is valued. Through continuous education, community advocacy, and measurable accountability, we strive to make both online spaces and in-person events welcoming and accessible to everyone.

To achieve this, our main activities include arranging Code of Conduct training for our members, hosting an open online book club focused on diversity, and partnering directly with event organizers to improve representation, safety, and accessibility across the community.
