This year, the Security & Privacy Community Team is shifting its focus toward the practical, everyday operations of running Umbraco. We want to move beyond abstract policies to discuss real-world scenarios, live server challenges, and the hands-on experiences that help us all become better developers.
Introduction
The Security & Privacy Community Team meets once a month for a focused hour to discuss live operations, operational security, and real-world "war stories" from running Umbraco in the wild. They analyze actual vulnerabilities, review code snippets, and explore the complex edge cases that standard documentation doesn’t cover. The aim is to turn individual operational lessons into collective community knowledge, shaping a transparent security culture that hardens the ecosystem for everyone.
